Recipe: Easy Cocoa Sundae Sauce (cooked, served hot or cold, 1960's)

EASY COCOA SUNDAE SAUCE

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup sugar
Dash salt
2/3 cup undiluted evaporated milk
1/4 teaspoon vanilla

Combine all ingredients, except vanilla. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, 5 minutes. Add vanilla.

Serve hot or cold.

Makes 1 cup
