ISO: Apricol Jam Recipe (not microwaved)

I have approx 10 pounds of apricots fresh off the tree. Have not made apricot jam before. Do I peel the apricots? Is there an easy way to peel them like with peaches (dip in boiling water). Also need and easy recipe for apricot jam not using the microwave.
