ISO: Cleveland Cassatta cake recipe

Misc.
Everyone is on the right track for the Cassatta Cake..we are familiar with Corbo's Cassatta and have always bought it for our family's special occasions, birthdays, graduations etc. when my daughter and her family lived in Cleveland Heights. My granddaughter has requested it for her baby shower her in Michigan and I am looking for a recipe...my thought is that it is a sponge cake with custard and strawberries, covered with swiss merangue frosting. I checked out the Pittsburgh recipe and I never detected cinnamon in the cake. I will experiment with a few combinations that I know and will print recipe if it seems close to the original.
