ISO: Cowboy Candy - question

Misc.
Galen,
I made the cowboy candy w/out the onions, and the turmeric. When the turmeric is included, does it take away from the viniger taste? If not, can you tell me what does? Also, when filling a 12 0z jar, how much of the jalapeno's should be put in the jar. I have a group of 48 to make as a gift. Thank you for your assistance

A Note From Betsy at Recipelink:
Wendy, please note that recipe isn't processed so the jars will need refrigeration. I just made a note of that in the recipe and wanted to draw your attention to it.
