ISO: Creamy Yellow Summer Squash Soup - Could you freeze or can this?

Since I have an over abundance of summer squash - who would have known they would be SOOOOOOOOO prolific this year? - I have exhausted all the ways I can think of to fix it. I know that this winter we would enjoy it more, but just plain frozen summer squash isn't the consistency we like. This soup sounds good, but I'm not sure about freezing or pressure canning the finished soup. Advice will be appreciated!
