Help. Tried to make divinity for wife using a Never Fail Divinity receipe from Kelly-WA. Being a novice candy maker it did fail. Came out kind orf chewey. I think the receipe is for a more experianced candy maker. I beat the mixture until the mixer would no longer mix and then tried to stir by hand a little longer. Still came out glossy and chewey. Tasted right, just wrong texture. Any suggestions appreciated.
