ONION-SEASONED GRILLED CORN

1/4 cup dry onion soup mix
1 Tablespoon chopped fresh chives
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
8 ears corn, husked, cleaned

Heat grill. In small bowl, combine soup mix, chives and butter; mix well. Spread each ear of corn with 1 Tablespoon butter mixture. Place each ear on sheet of heavy-duty foil; wrap securely, using double-fold seal.

Place wrapped ears of corn on gas grill over medium-low heat or on charcoal grill 4 to 6 inches from medium coals. Cook 20-30 minutes or until tender, turning frequently during cooking. 8 servings

Tip: Butter mixture can be spread on fresh cooked corn on the cob.
