ISO: Easy recipes for dinner party

Misc.
I am having 4 guests for dinner on Sat. We are going to a Christmas musical first at 6:00pm and will probably be back close to 8:00pm and want to have dinner then. I am not sure what to make for them will be okay sitting for that long and then reheating when we get back. I need entre-meat or stew, and a dessert that will be easy for me to make too. I definitely want some sort of beef. I have read the greatest recipes on here and love coming. Also is there a subscribe available to this recipelink anymore? I cant find it. Thank you so much! God Bless You all! teri
