Recipe(tried): Some Easy Recipe Ideas for Teriwinkle's Dinner Party!
Holidays, CelebrationsDear Teriwinkles,
Since you will be gone from 6 to 8pm, and you want some sort of beef for dinner, I would definitly suggest making Beef Stew in the crockpot early in the day, have some rolls with butter, a salad and Chocolate Eclair Cake.
The eclair cake is made in the pan the day before, make the salad when you come home as you boil the egg noodles to go with the stew.
Or, make spaghetti with meatsauce, garlic bread and brownies and ice cream or the chocolate eclair cake. The meatsauce and brownies you can make early enough in the day and re-heat later, make salad when you come thru the door as you boil the spaghetti noodles.
The secret is in preparing ahead of time like The Barefoot Contessa does on her TV food Show. Ina Garten is a pro at this!
If you are interested at all in the menus above, let me know and I will post my recipes for them. Enjoy the show!
Kindest Regards, Gina
