ISO: Excellent Chicken Stew recipe

Misc.
My husband has been requesting a chicken stew meal that is very rich and spicy. I have tried numerous recipes, but they all taste very bland.
Does anyone have an especially good recipe that I can surprise him with. I will be so thankful.
*The ones I have been trying have your basic chicken, veggies, salt, pepper, and a few other herbs- but I would like with that really has a great taste.
