Hello my friend! I'm so glad to read that your toothache problems are so much better now. As I was home recuperating from my hospital stay, I developed a severe edema in my legs & feet. More Dr. visits, more pills & had to keep my legs elevated as much as possible. Am finally able to stand & do a bit of cooking now, with help from my DH & sons doing chopping & prep work. I recently discovered the Penzey's spices catalog & ordered something I've always wanted to try. Saffron! I ordered thier Kashmir saffron (just a tiny 1 gram jar) & now would love your input on what to serve with saffron rice (there is a basic recipe in the catalog), or maybe a simple dish that includes this spice. Three of us have more adventurous taste buds, but my yougest son (20), prefers foods that are too 'exotic'. I cook whatever sounds interesting to me, & have very few food dislikes.
