ISO: freezer muffin batter

Misc.
Has anyone ever frozen muffin batter? If so, is there anything different that must be done? I know that I can purchase frozen muffin batter as well as frozen cookie dough. These are thawed in the fridge, you can use what you need then refreeze. It's easy and good. Hope to get some feedback.
