ISO: Grand Lux Cafe Spring Rolls - question

i tried making this several times and everytime ive made it i was unsatisfied with the oil used... when i eat them at the restaurant i can never taste the oil. at home the oil is all i taste. which oil is best for frying and is there a better quality frying oil i should be using?
