ISO: Hi Deborah - White zinfandel or red zinfandel?

Misc.
Hi Deborah: Are you taking red zinfandel or white? Here is some information I found on the internet giving general guidelines about the foods that go best with each. It would help to know which one you are taking.

WHITE ZINFANDEL displays a beautiful, clear salmon blush color and fresh, sweet aromas of strawberries and raspberries. A slight creaminess is noted on the palate, balanced with a crisp acidity. The acidity and slight sweetness makes this wine an excellent accompaniment to a variety of foods, notable Asian or Latin cuisines that have hot or spicy flavors.

RED ZINFANDEL wine's rich, jammy, spicy flavors, balanced by fine tannins, make it an ideal choice for tri-tip steak, grilled lamb, sausages, hearty pastas, portobello mushrooms, baby back ribs, pizza, and hamburgers.
