ISO: Homemade Barbecue Sauce (using tomatoes)

I have searched for a recipe for BBQ sauce (homemade) and cannot find one. We have preserved some San Marzano tomatoes and I'm trying to find a good homemade recipe for barbecue sauce. Can anyone help? Thanks.
