ISO: How to can beef for Denise - question

Misc.
At the end of the recipe for how to can beef for Denise (msg id 2204632) is stated - 1 roast, 1 hour 35 minutes.

Don't understand? Are you saying cook the 1 roast for 1 hour and 35 minutes before canning in the jars?

Thanks
