ISO: how to freeze foods

Hi,
I'm a mom of 2 and am wanting to start cutting down on cost in my husband & my grocery bill, by freezing foods ect.,developing a meal planner for 1 month grocery shoppping. Does anyone have any ideas. I would love any suggestions.
