ISO: how to get sugar to stick to donuts??

HELP!!
My last attempts to make baked donuts have failed, do to the fact that the sugar won't stick to the donuts. I want them to be as coated as the ones you buy. A glaze or any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks!
