ISO: loaf size needed

Hi - I love this site but often the recipes don't give the loaf size. My machine baking time depends on loaf size - 1, 1.5, or 2lb.If you have a general rule of thumb on this I would appreciate the info as I have been a "hand baker" until very recently.
