Bread Machine - Rule of Thumb

Misc.
Hi Melissa,

Here's a helpful guide for bread machine recipes that don't say what size they are:

1 lb machine = maximum of 2 cups flour
1 1/2 lb machine = maximum 3 cups flour
2 lb machine = maximum 4 cups flour

For recipes that give size, you can also make a 1 or 1 1/2 pound loaf in a 2 pound machine and a 1 pound loaf in a 1 1/2 pound machine.

Happy Baking,

Betsy
