ISO: Looking for an old Candy Recipe that has Cocoa Puffs, and

Misc.
I used to make candy for my military friends that had cocoa puffs and I think maybe karo syrup and chocolate chips. You cooked the sauce over a double boiler then mixed in the cereal. Then you dropped them in bite sized stacks and let cool on waxed paper. The guys ate them as fast as they were ready!! Anyone ever made these? I'd love to have this recipe again!
