Recipe: Orange Creamsicle Cookies (using Tang orange drink mix)

ORANGE CREAMSICLE COOKIES

1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup Tang orange crystals or other orange drink mix
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/2 cups vanilla baking chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Beat butter until light and fluffy. Add the (dry) Tang, sugar, egg and vanilla extract; beat for another minute or so. Add flour, baking powder and baking powder; mix well.

Roll heaping tablespoon into balls. Place 2-inches apart onto a lightly greased baking sheet.

Bake for 12 to 14 minutes or until tops are very lightly browned. Cool 5 minutes on sheet then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
