ISO: Looking for cast iron cookware OTHER than lodgelogic

Misc.
In the last six months I have started using my mothers old chicken cast iron cookware....I love it and want to start adding other pieces to use on an everyday basis. I don't get a chance to do much thrift shopping or garage saling (sp?) so I am out of luck with searching for different pieces. I see Lodge Logic everywhere and I am not impressed. I have never used it nor do I know anyone who has, however, I would like to be able to season my own pans. It seems like cheating to have your pans pre seasoned. I think that part of the allure of the cast iron is I want to be in control of the seasoning process...yes I know it takes a long time for the perfectly seasoned pan, but I am willing to take the time. My point in saying all this is, the only other cast iron cookware I can find around in the shops and online is either the super, super, super expensive ceramic coated cast iron stuff, or the flimsy lightweight cheapo pieces that don't seem like they are made the "old fashioned" way. Any help would be appreciated. My husband says that I am way, way to wordy so I apologize if the message seems way to long for this request. It's who I am...what can I say? He thought it was a good package when he asked me to marry him! : 0
