ISO: Mexican Corn Pie

I recently moved to New York City and I have lost a treasured recipe for a Mexican Corn Pie. You prepare a batter with milk, eggs and flour and place in a pie pan. Then, you mix one can of corn niblets, some onion, some mushrooms, cumin, chile powder, salt, pepper in saute pan and put the filling into pie pan. Bake for 20 minutes or so. Sprinkle on some chedder cheese on top and melt.
It's delicious. If you can help, I would really appreciate having it for Thanksgiving,
