ISO: Need help! Flat cookies

Need help. I recently moved to Mexico and everytime I bake chocolate chip cookies..they rise then fall into paper thin cookies. I have pulled several recipies for chewy cookies off the internet but still have the same problem. I even tried Tollhouse recipe and they were thin instead of thick and chewy. Any suggestions of what to add would help. It may be the flour here not sure. THANKS!
