ISO: Need ideas for a cocktail party!
Misc.Okay, all of you wonderful cooks out there! I am planning an outdoor (hopefully, if our Central Valley weather holds out) cocktail party for the second week in November. It is in honor of my oldest stepdaughter who just got engaged. I don't want to be slaving over a stove, so I am looking for make-ahead canapes and hors d'oeuvres that I can serve at room temperature. I've made a field trip to Costco and determined that I can get mini-quiches and tiropita. Of course, there is always the option of fruit trays and veggie/cheese trays. Does anyone out there have some great ideas and recipes for me? I would be forever grateful.
Thank you in advance.
