ISO: old Heinz 57 Sauce

I am looking for a recipe for the "old" Heinz 57 sauce. It contained tamarinds and was far superior to the glorified ketchup that Heinz is selling in place of it now. I had a recipe from the Sunday magazine of one of the Dallas, Tx papers, years ago, and it has disappeared.
