ISO: Overnight Breakfast Casserole using raisin bread and apples
Misc.I have another challenge for you gals...I'm searching for a breakfast casserole that is made ahead, refrigerated overnight and baked the next morning. It was in a magazine (?) about 25 yrs. ago.
The ingredients were: a layer of cubed raisin bread, a layer of bacon or sausage, a layer of apples, more raisin bread, and then an egg mixture poured over it all. There may be other ingredients, such as milk, vanilla, etc. but the friend of mine doesn't remember the rest.
The recipe name is also forgotten, I added the one above just as a start. I hope someone can help with this recipe. Thank you very much.
