ISO: page, mi re: Tapas
Misc.Hi Page:-) When you and your DH get settled in the DC area, you might like to try two restaurants in DC. One serves Greek and Middle Eastern Mezedes (appetizers), and the other serves Spanish Tapas. They are owned by the same person. I have been to Zaytinya, the Middle Eastern one, and believe me, not only is the food delicious, but you can make a meal (dinner) by having several different appetizers. My recommendation is to go with several people so you can order many different dishes and try little bites of each of them. Zaytinya can get very crowded but the time that I went, we went on Sunday night and there was no line or waiting. The Spanish Tapas restaurant is Jaleo. I have not eaten there but everyone else in my family has. They all thought that it was good, though there are some negative reviews or comments about it on The Washington Post website. Anyway, it's something for you to consider at some point down the road.
