ISO: pastele

Misc.
My name is Ann and I would love to learn how to make pastele. I remember when my grandmother use to make them and I would love to be able to give my kids and grand kids the same joy of eating a pastele just like my grandmother gave me and everyone else. I was actually supposed to learn from my grandmother how to make them but I was never able to because she passed away at the very young age of 66.

I miss her very much and I am hoping that when I learn how to make them and I take that first bite of my own it will remind me of her and I can give everyone in my family that misses her that same joy. So if anyone has a recipe for pastele made the Hispanic way please share it with me, it will be greatly appreciated. Thanx for reading
