ISO: portabello mushrooms

I was not the person who submitted the original request, but I have been
looking for a grilled portabello mushroom recipe (sauce or marinade) that
mimics the one served at the Marina Cafe in Destin, Florida. This mushroom is
served as an appetizer, but could be a main course. The sauce makes the
mushroom very dark brown, almost black. The sauce is kind of "sticky", almost
like it is painted on the mushroom. It is very "meaty" tasting, so I'm sure it
includes some type of steak sauce. I've never tasted anything like it. I've
tried making up some recipes and grilling these mushrooms, but I haven't even
come close. Is there anything in your portabello mushroom book that sounds
like this? Thanks for your help.
