ISO: Potato balls with ground meat inside?

Would anyone know of a recipe with ground meat in the middle and (maybe) mashed potatoes around the outside and (maybe) deep fried? I have a friend looking for the recipe and she only had it once, and doesn't know the name of it. I am just asking for her and trying to remember what she was saying about the recipe...maybe someone would know what she is talking about ......thanks nicky
