ISO: Potato salad like dear old mom made

Hey everybody: We are having a Labor Day party at our house and I am looking for a good potato salad like my mother-in-law makes. (I know, I should be asking her, right? I'd would much rather visit with you all!) It is a very simple recipe with just a few ingredients in it. Potatoes, mayo, mustard, pickle relish. Got any ideas on quanities? I know that is all that is in it. Would appreciate any help you can give me. Especially when it comes to preparing the potatoes. Thanks, Mrs. Food
