Misc.
This event is being held 1-4 on a Sunday afternoon. I have indicated that there will be "light refreshments/sandwiches" so guests will be expecting a light luncheon and not a full dinner menu.

I read an earlier post about general party suggestions and have scanned in old photos to mount on foam boards for display and purchased a "90" tiara. I'm not sure about using background music, if it would be pleasant or hinder conversation.

The food details have occupied most of my thoughts and other than colourful table settings, balloons and old pictures, I haven't thought of anything else.

As far as activites, my only ideas are introductions, a Blessing by my Mother's minister and eating/visiting. My Mother is not one to speak in public but is in good health, abeit hard of hearing, and looking forward to this. Any other general party suggestions would also be appreciated.
Thanks!
Molly
