ISO: Sour cream cake in 9x13 pan

Misc.
Talked with an 83-year-old relative today. I asked him his favorite food as a kid and he remembered a sour cream cake that his mother made -- it WASN'T a pound cake, it WASN'T a coffee cake. It was made in a regular 9x13 pan. He was very disappointed that he lost the recipe. Said it didn't need to be frosted. (No cake mix used, obviously; I tried searching here but couldn't find what seemed close.)

Any ideas? Thanks much.
