ISO: Still Searching for Toffee Bar Receipe

My mother used to make toffee bars. They were made in a jelly roll pan and then spread with semi-sweet chocolate when pulled out of the oven. This is not the cracker receipe. I would love to find it again. They were a very thin bar cookie. Thanks!!
