ISO: Substitute for Butcher's Twine

Misc.
I am in the process of making a roulade and completely forgot that I needed butcher's twine to hold the rolled meat together. Unfortunately, I have been unable to locate it at any of the local stores. Is there something that I can use instead (thread, etc.) that won't affect the food? Please help ASAP!! Thank You!
