ISO: Westerns (loose hamburger cooked in a skillet)
Misc.No... I's not looking for Bonanza or Rifleman TV show ...or even a John Wayne movie. What I'm trying to find out if anyone has a recipe similar to one my dad used to make. He's dead now but I'd like to find something similar. This was a recipe that made up like a hamburger, but not the same. It was a loose hamburger and had ground meat, milk, maybe an egg (or more), possibly some grated onion. It was cooked on a skillet atop the stove (again similar to a hamburger). We always called them "westerns", but it could have had another name. Who knows, it could have been a diner dish or even a bar dish. The search engine really didn't yield any close results.
