Breads - Bread Machine
Kevin,
I make this all the time and everyone loves it. It never lasts the day!

PUMPERNICKEL BREAD
BLACK AND DECKER BREAD MACHINE (2 lb)

1 1/2 cups water
3 tbsp. powdered milk
2 tbsp. shortening
2 tbsp. honey
2 tbsp. molasses
1 3/4 tsp. salt
1 cup whole wheat flour
2 1/3 cups white flour
2/3 cup rye flour
2 tbsp. cocoa
2 tsp instant coffee granules
1 1/2 tsp. yeast

Measure ingredients in the order listed into baking pan (or according to your maachine). Insert baking pan into oven chamber, twist to secure. Close lid. Select: Whole Grain Setting. Crust Setting is pre-selected. Press start - There will be a 25-minutes preheat delay before mixing begins. Using ovens mitts, remove bread when completion beeps sound. Cool on a wire rack before slicing.

Time: 4:10 hours
