Thank You: date nut candy

Hi,

Just now getting back to check this. Thank you very much for the recipe. Your recipe seems to be what my mama would have made. Her's became a little sugary, and think the corn syrup would keep that from happening. She always wrapped hers in a damp cotton tea towel and kept it in the refrigerator, slicing off a few pieces at a time for company.

Well... as far as my mom goes.. she is a far better place. And healthy. She left us all with so many wonderful memories and we continue to pass them on.
