ISO: date nut candy

Hello,

I have been looking for a recipe for the date nut candy my Mama used to make. She cooked the sugar and milk and dates and nuts.. but I do not know how much or for how long. I lost my mother last year.. and I do not have her recipe. I miss her so this year, and would like to make the candy.
