We are driving out to the orchard tomorrow, so I will make this next week. Can't wait to try it! I usually can green beans, soup mix (combination of cabbage, tomatoes, beans, corn anything out of the garden) all flavors of jam, all of which I normally give away, then the family doesn't get any! I freeze corn of course, from Nebraska. It is alot of work but DH usually helps and it just tastes so much better! We normally get our produce out of my 95 yearl old uncle's garden but I'm afraid this past summer was his last, he just can't handle it anymore.
