Thank You: Gladys, for the tip about no music

I've seen CD's of "casino party music," but maybe I'll pass those up. I was toying with the idea of hiring a local college student to be a "lounge singer" and have him include the Happy Birthday song in his act. Or maybe I'll just have that Rat Pack type music during the food portion of the evening. I'm looking at doing this party BIG - I want to invite everyone DH has ever known, stage it in a big reception room somewhere, rent some real casino-type equipment, and hire some dealers. He's 46 now, and I'm already planning and saving.
So I'm eager to see everyone's ideas! Thanks for the help!
