Thank You: Gladys, that sounds just like what we had!

The bisque you described at the end of your post sounds just like the color and consistency of what we had. The main menu had descriptions and Cuban names for the dishes and ingredients (including a whole paragraph on sofrito and romenesco). The soup we had was just written on a note stapled to the inside of the menu, a seasonal special, the waiter said, so there was no description or Cuban names. Thanks for the info!
