Thank You: June/FL/Cape Cod re: baking ammonia

One recipe that I found using baking ammonia said just what you said - that the smell, while baking, is something else but you don't taste it in the final product. Interesting! I'm not sure I would try it for that reason. Not that I've looked but I wonder about it's availability??!?
