Thank You: tarts and kaya

Misc.
hi karen,

the operation on my eyes went well... sorry i misled you guys here about it. i should have stated that i was only going for the LASIK (the laser eye surgery for correcting my nearsightedness.) it was an easy procedure and now i don't need glasses nor contact lens anymore. anyway, to answer your question about the pineapple tarts". i did a check here on TKL. the recipes are on the ethnic board under pineapple tarts. there is yet another one which i didn't post (coz i didn't try it myself back them). actually, i thought i have e-mailed you all of them last week (including the pictures.) maybe you didn't get that one. i will try to send them to you in the e-mail again. let me know if you get it.

and for the kaya, yes, i have done it. but the result wasn't as good. however, chris' grandma said that's because of my poor skills and i needed more practice. i have to look for the recipe for you. It's a good one, trust me. many people tried it and said it's good. it's just me who couldn't do it well. something went wrong when i did it. they all said it's because i was impatient.

ok, that's it for now. will tell you more about the eye event in the e-mail later. i have a lot to explain to A LOT of people! iw as in a hurry in my e-mail and posts... so many people thought i was going through some major operation!!! *_*
