I saw she was from Arizona and wasn't thinking outside the box, so to speak. Research on scone recipes showed the amounts of corn flour are small, so you are right. My apologies, Nancy, if this caused you a problem. Cooks Thesaurus also mentions under cornstarch that in the UK it is called corn flour. Another of our gastronomic differences, I guess.
