Recipe: Corn Flour (blender) but for shortbread...

Tips and Tricks - Cooking
According to the Cook's Tesaurus, corn flour can be made by using cornmeal and a blender, blending it until it is the consistency of flour. Also mentions substituting cornmeal. Some of it is quite fine, I have found, but not sure which brands are the finest.

hi Nancy,

for Irish shortbread, corn flour is the cornstarch in the states. it's not what jeanne/FL described in the reply, unfortuantely. hope this clears it up.
