Thanks to everyone who gave me tons of ideas. The apple butter was delish ... and used up a lot of apples!

Made some mini-apples pies and froze as an experiement (OK, I admit I was skeptical.) They were fantastic! Convinced the freezeing made them juicier but it was probably the 5 different kinds of apples I used!

Somebody (sorry I forgot your name) recently posted an apple cake recipe that I think I'll give a whirl tonight.

Again, thanks for all the responses! I don't know what I was thinking at the orchard ... but I know I'll do the same thing again next year! HA!
