Main Dishes - Fish, Shellfish
BAKED SHRIMP SCAMPI

"Everybody's favorite! This makes a great appetizer. It is so fast and easy."

1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/2 cup butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
1/2 cup bread crumbs or cracker crumbs

Arrange shrimp in a single layer in a shallow baking dish.

In a small saucepan, combine all remaining ingredients except bread or cracker crumbs. Heat until butter has melted, stirring to mix seasonings. Pour evenly over shrimp, reserving 2 tablespoons.

Add reserved seasoned butter to bread or cracker crumbs; mix well. Sprinkle crumbs over shrimp.

Bake at 450 degrees F for 8-10 minutes, or until browned.

Makes 2-4 servings
